This Audio Meditation platform is a resource to rest, restore, and reconnect with a sense of ease deep within.
If you find the audio practices helpful and would like to donate, your generosity will sustain this resource.
Yoga Nidra — the yoga of sleep — is a meditation technique that informs the guided audio meditation practices offered, but those of you well versed in Nidra will notice that I use an eclectic mix of approaches as my own meditation practice evolves (and ebbs and flows) over time.
Nidra is a sensation or body-centred meditation practice that guides you gently towards a restful and restorative state by focusing your attention on your state of being. Gently guiding your awareness to tune into your senses, and to the sensation of being in your body, subtly soothes the mind. Falling asleep during Nidra is welcomed, and you may find yourself moving between states of consciousness. Once used to this experience, you can relax into the rhythm of the process.
The different lengths of practice provide the opportunity for either a brief restorative session or a chance to drop deeper into a longer session with spacious silence between the guided commentary.
These free practices are refreshed every season. Feedback on these practices is welcome and please do share the practices you enjoy with family, friends, and colleagues.
The audio practices can be used as a tool to aid sleep. Equally, Nidra can be accessed throughout the day, to pause, reconnect with a state of being (rather than doing), and move towards a rest and digest (parasympathetic) state.
Yoga Nidra is a simple and effective technique to cope with stress of any cause (mental/physical) and move towards a more easeful experience in the midst of life.
May these practices support your health and wellbeing.
My one intention is to share the practices that I have had the privilege to experience and benefit from.
May I simply be a narrator of this beautiful language that guides us towards our own experience.
In gratitude
